BDB PEROLEH KONTRAK PENYELENGGARAAN JALAN NEGERI KEDAH BERNILAI RM251.65 JUTA

ALOR SETAR – Bina Darulaman Berhad (BDB) hari ini mengumumkan bahawa anak syarikat milik penuhnya, BDB Infra Sdn Bhd (BDB Infra), telah memperoleh kontrak penyelenggaraan jalan-jalan negeri bernilai RM251.65 juta daripada Kerajaan Negeri Kedah.
Kontrak bagi tempoh 60 bulan (lima tahun) itu melibatkan kerja-kerja penyelenggaraan jalan di Zon 1 yang merangkumi daerah Kota Setar, Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap dan Pokok Sena.
Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulan BDB, Che Abdul Khalid Md Din berkata, penganugerahan kontrak tersebut mencerminkan keyakinan berterusan Kerajaan Negeri Kedah terhadap keupayaan dan kredibiliti BDB Infra dalam melaksanakan projek penyelenggaraan infrastruktur secara cekap, berkualiti dan konsisten.
“Penganugerahan ini merupakan satu pengiktirafan bermakna kepada Kumpulan BDB dan BDB Infra atas pengalaman serta rekod prestasi kami dalam sektor penyelenggaraan dan pembinaan jalan raya.
“BDB komited memastikan projek ini dilaksanakan mengikut spesifikasi dan standard ditetapkan demi menjamin keselamatan serta keselesaan pengguna jalan raya di negeri Kedah,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.
Beliau berkata, kontrak tersebut dijangka memberi sumbangan positif kepada pendapatan dan prestasi kewangan Kumpulan BDB bagi tempoh kewangan 2026 hingga 2031, sekali gus memperkukuh keyakinan pemegang taruh dan pelabur terhadap prospek pertumbuhan syarikat.
Menurut beliau lagi, projek itu turut dijangka memberi impak positif kepada pembangunan infrastruktur negeri serta merangsang aktiviti ekonomi setempat melalui peluang pekerjaan dan penglibatan rantaian bekalan tempatan.
BDB Infra merupakan kontraktor Gred G7 yang mempunyai pengalaman dan rekod kerja yang cemerlang lebih 50 tahun dalam pelaksanaan kerja-kerja penyelenggaraan dan pembinaan jalan raya serta operasi kuari di utara tanah air.
Untuk rekod, bagi tempoh 10 tahun sejak 2015, BDB Infra telah menerima kontrak penyelenggaraan jalan daripada Kerajaan Negeri Kedah secara berterusan merangkumi beberapa daerah di negeri ini.

ALOR SETAR – Bina Darulaman Berhad (BDB) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, BDB Infra Sdn Bhd (BDB Infra), has secured a RM251.65 million state road maintenance contract from the Kedah State Government.
The 60-month (5 years) contract involves road maintenance works in Zone 1, covering the districts of Kota Setar, Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap and Pokok Sena.
Group Chief Executive Officer of BDB, Che Abdul Khalid Md Din said the award reflects the Kedah State Government’s continued confidence in BDB Infra’s capability and credibility in delivering infrastructure projects efficiently, consistently and with high quality standards.
“This contract award is a meaningful recognition for BDB Group and BDB Infra, reflecting our extensive experience and proven track record in the road maintenance and construction sector.
“BDB remains committed to ensuring the project is implemented in accordance with the required specifications and standards to enhance the safety and comfort of road users in Kedah,” he said in a statement today.
He added that the contract is expected to contribute positively to BDB Group’s earnings and financial performance for the financial years 2026 to 2031, while strengthening stakeholders’ and investors’ confidence in the Group’s long-term growth prospects.
According to him, the project is also expected to generate positive spillover effects on the state’s infrastructure development and stimulate local economic activities through employment opportunities and participation from local supply chain players.
BDB Infra is a Grade G7 contractor with more than 50 years of experience in road maintenance and construction works, as well as quarry operations in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia.
For the record, over a 10-year period since 2015, BDB Infra has continuously received road maintenance contracts from the Kedah State Government, covering several districts across the state.
