PETALING JAYA – Bina Darulaman Berhad (BDB) semalam mengumumkan anak syarikat milik penuhnya, BDB Infra Sdn. Bhd. (BDB Infra) telah dianugerahkan kontrak penyelenggaraan jalan-jalan negeri bernilai RM204 juta daripada Kerajaan Negeri Kedah.

Projek penyelenggaraan tersebut adalah untuk tempoh 36 bulan bermula 15 Mei 2023 sehingga 14 Mei 2026, melibatkan zon 1 iaitu daerah Kota Setar, Padang Terap/Pokok Sena, Kubang Pasu, Pendang, Yan dan Sik.

Pengarah Eksekutif Kumpulan BDB, Raja Shahreen Raja Othman berkata, ia merupakan pengiktirafan kepada Kumpulan BDB dan BDB Infra di atas pencapaian dan rekod kerja baik yang telah dilaksanakan sepanjang projek-projek penyelenggaraan yang diterima sebelum ini.

“Alhamdulillah, ia menunjukkan bahawa Kerajaan Negeri Kedah yakin dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh Kumpulan BDB dan kami akan melaksanakan amanah dan tanggungjawab yang besar ini dengan sebaik mungkin.

“Penganugerahan projek ini juga dijangka akan turut memberi impak yang positif kepada pendapatan sesaham syarikat untuk tempoh kewangan 2023 hingga 2026,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan.

BDB Infra merupakan kontraktor Gred G7 yang mempunyai pengalaman dan rekod kerja yang cemerlang selama lebih 50 tahun dalam pelaksanaan kerja-kerja penyelenggaraan dan pembinaan jalan raya serta kuari di utara tanah air.

BDB Infra pada 2020 telah dianugerahkan kontrak selama tiga tahun daripada Kerajaan Negeri Kedah bagi tujuan penyelenggaraan jalan di beberapa daerah di negeri berkenaan iaitu di Kota Setar, Padang Terap/Pokok Sena, Kuala Muda, Sik, Kubang Pasu, Kulim/Bandar Baharu, Pendang, Yan, dan Baling. – KOSMO! ALOR STAR: Bina Darulaman Berhad (BDB) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, BDB Infra Sdn Bhd (BDB Infra), has been awarded a state road maintenance contract worth RM204 million.

BDB Group executive director Raja Shahreen Raja Othman said the company recently received the Letter of Acceptance from the Kedah state government.

He said the maintenance project would run for 36 months, from May 15 this year to May 14, 2026.

“The maintenance project will cover Zone 1, which includes districts of Kota Setar, Padang Terap/Pokok Sena, Kubang Pasu, Pendang, Yan and Sik.

“The award is a recognition of BDB and BDB Infra’s good performance and track record in maintenance projects.

“This project is expected to positively impact the company’s earnings per share for the financial period of 2023 to 2026,” he said in a statement today.

BDB Infra is a Grade G7 contractor with more than 50 years of experience and has a proven track record in road maintenance and construction works as well as quarries in the country’s northern region.

Previously, in 2020, BDB Infra was also awarded a three-year contract by the Kedah government for road maintenance in several districts in the state.

ALOR SETAR: Bina Darulaman Bhd’s (BDB) wholly owned subsidiary, BDB Infra Sdn Bhd (BDB Infra) has been awarded a state road maintenance contract worth RM204 million from the Kedah state government.

The road maintenance project will run for 36 months, from May 15, 2023 to May 14, 2026, involving Zone 1 (Kota Setar, Padang Terap/Pokok Sena, Kubang Pasu, Pendang, Yan and Sik districts).

BDB group executive director Raja Shahreen Raja Othman said the contract win was in recognition of the BDB Group and BDB Infra’s achievements and good track record throughout previous maintenance contracts.

“This proves that the Kedah state government is confident of BDB Group’s capabilities,” he said in a statement today, adding that the contract is expected to boost the group’s earnings per share for financial years 2023-2026.

BDB Infra is a G7 Grade contractor with close to 50 years of experience and an excellent track record in carrying out road and quarries maintenance and construction works in the northern part of the country.

KUALA LUMPUR (May 11): Bina Darulaman Bhd’s (BDB) unit has secured a state road maintenance contract worth RM204 million from the Kedah state government.

BDB’s wholly-owned subsidiary BDB Infra Sdn Bhd (BDB Infra) will undertake the project that will run for a period of 36 months from May 2023 to May 2026, the company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia on Thursday (May 11).

The maintenance work will cover zone one, which includes the districts of Kota Setar, Padang Terap/Pokok Sena, Kubang Pasu, Pendang, Yan and Sik.

BDB group executive director Raja Shahreen Raja Othman said this project is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s earnings per share for the financial period of 2023 to 2026.

BDB Infra is a Grade G7 contractor with more than 50 years of experience and has a proven track record in road maintenance and construction works as well as quarries in the northern region of the country.

Previously, in 2020, BDB Infra was also awarded a three-year contract by the Kedah state government for the purpose of road maintenance in several districts in the state.

This included of districts of Kota Setar, Padang Terap/Pokok Sena, Kuala Muda, Sik, Kubang Pasu, Kulim/Bandar Baharu, Pendang, Yan, and Baling.

In February 2023, BDB Infra clinched a RM34.08 million contract from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security to develop a tertiary irrigation system in Kedah and Perlis.

BDB shares closed 3.23% or 1 sen lower to 30 sen, valuing the company at RM91.16 million.
