BINA Darulaman Bhd (BDB), an investment holding company for the Kedah state government, is planning to establish a joint venture (JV) with Enfiniti Escapes (M) Sdn Bhd, a private entity focused on hotel and accommodation development.

The collaboration aims to engage in eco-tourism development, particularly in the Lubuk Semilang area of Langkawi.

BDB’s subsidiary, BDB Land Sdn Bhd, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Enfiniti, outlining the basis for cooperation.

Under the MOU, BDB Land will conduct a land survey, and Enfiniti will design the development based on the survey report.

The MOU does not require shareholder or regulatory approval. BDB’s shares closed slightly lower at 28.5 sen today. – TMR
